Eclipse Viewing Party

In this part of the country, the eclipse begins at 6:17pm, reaches its maximum at 7:12pm, when around 90% of the Sun will be covered, and ends shortly after 8pm.

Bring a picnic, drinks or other refreshments, find a spot on the amphitheatre and enjoy this rare event with friends, family and neighbours.

Please view the eclipse safely. Never look directly at the Sun without suitable certified solar viewing glasses. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe, and cameras, binoculars and telescopes must not be pointed at the Sun unless fitted with the correct solar filters.
