Park Byelaws A Quick Guide

The park is open all day, every day. However, the car park is closed to vehicles from 8pm to 6am. Parking outside these hours may result in a fine issued by Euro Car Parks.

Please keep dogs under control at all times. Dogs must be on leads in marked areas (north of the central path). Always clean up after your dog and use the bins provided. Do not allow dogs in the lake or stream.

Take all your litter home. Do not drop cigarette butts or vapes. Fires and barbecues are not allowed anywhere in the park.

Motor vehicles, e-scooters, speed-modified e-bikes and mopeds are not allowed in the park (except for mobility aids and emergency services). Cycling is allowed on paths only, and must be done carefully.

Swimming, paddling, boating, fishing, and entering the lake or brook are strictly not allowed. This includes the use of inflatables, canoes or model boats.

Camping, gazebos, drones, metal detectors, loud music, and unauthorised performances or events are not permitted. Ball games are welcome in open areas, but please be mindful of others.

Please respect all plants and animals. Do not pick flowers, climb trees or damage any part of the landscape. Feeding or disturbing wildlife is not allowed.

We ask all visitors to keep noise levels low, especially near homes and the care home that borders the park. Anyone behaving in a way that causes harm, annoyance or danger to others or the environment may be asked to leave and could be banned from the park.
