Robin Hood (In the Park)
Deep in the heart of Knowle Park’s enchanting open-air amphitheatre, a legend returns… with a theatrical twist!

England is under the grip of the greedy Prince John and the ruthless Sheriff of Nottingham, whose cruel taxes are leaving the people with nothing but empty pockets and broken spirits. Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men have spent years robbing the rich to give to the poor, but the Sheriff’s getting wise to their tricks. The old ways aren’t working anymore.
So the Merry Men hatch a daring new plan...
Disguised as The Sherwood Players, the gang take to the stage, travelling through Nottingham with wildly ambitious performances, outrageous disguises, chaotic comedy, stirring songs, and more than a little mischief. With the Sheriff growing suspicious and the stakes higher than ever, can Robin and his troupe pull off the greatest performance of their lives?
Packed with laughter, music, adventure, and larger-than-life characters, Robin Hood in the Park 2026 is a joyous outdoor community theatre spectacular for all ages, performed beneath the summer sky.
